this is going away

awwwwwwwww. oh well we had a good run. as soon as i can come up with a good image to put here, it’s bye bye birdie. i’m thinking i may whip up something to allow comments tho.

    i think its really grown into something good.

    its something i check whenever i get the chance..

    i guess its sort of become the place that we discuss stuff when not together and when not in chat.

    i would have though u would have been quite proud of how far its come.. true it may have strayed a bit from its original purpose as a simple weblog.. but i think its grown into something quite alive.. and possibly far more personal. even though lately u havent really been posting that many dreams..

    my plans are to keep the log in it’s current form minus the comments system and tuck it away somewhere in a password protected dir. then create a front page with a much simpler comments system until i decide what to do with the site. tonight my DSL will be activated at 1.5mbit, but i have to help my mom move so i won’t get to hook it up till later tonight. as soon as that’s done i will finish the comments script and upload the page.

    oh yeah.. check this out.. i found this looking for a good software vcd player..

    dbz movies

    they look genuine.. but the price seems to good to be true.. but the one problem i have is that they are all dubbed.. and ive been reading some of the comments, and people seem to agree that the dubbing is bad so i think it was probably done by some guys that decided to make some money.. heh.. i would have preferred originol japanese with subs.. they also have the entire gt series but then in chinese, and without subs.. thats sorta wierd.. anyways.. just thought id update u guys on that.. im gonna see if anyone has something simular with subs… cause that would be cool.. espcially if its simularly priced.

    jr will the current comments still be accessable..

    i do agree though that passworded comments would also make it better, at least it would keep people from taking other peoples names.. heh cause thats quite possible here. it would make it more like an actual forum.. however it would make it more difficult for a passerby to add commentary.. most people wont sign up so quickly.

    it’ll just be a copy of the current comments except they won’t be attached to any posts. and i’ll maybe limit the displayed comments to like 50 so it doesn’t take minutes to load

    i started something but i don’t know if i’ll use it. my design habits have become odd. i’m thinking all black for the next one with either bright blue or a mix of grey and orange. or possibly green, i’ve always wanted to play with green. but i have this cool picture of alex from clockwork orange that’s black so i probably will go with that.

    sounds interesting.. put up some of the designs.. i dont know green kind of scares me sometimes.. it can be really nice though.. but u have to be careful.. because it can easily go bad.. im also sort of working ona site.. its all black and white with some gray tones.. looks ok.. but no where near done..

    i’m glad cuz that blue and orange one you had going was shit. i mean the texturing was nice but the logo was a bit cheesy. when i get home tonight i will upload screenshots of all the designs i have toyed with over the years. it’s sweet, i found a backup cd i had made a long ass time ago. coming soon!
