i noticed something strange in my server logs. cj’s ip changes with each http request. obsoive:

weird huh?

must be an aol thing.. probably some type of attempt at protecting their customers from hack attacks.. it would probably work too..

but im confused how they are able to do that.. oh well.

some wierd stuff has happened to me today btw.. this morning i twisted my ankle.. sucked.. i was getting wood from that construction area beside my school.. happened jumping over the fence and landing in a pile of sand that happened to have a rock in it. i worked the whole day on that ankel.. getting more wood and bringing it up to the top floor.. damn stairs.. and now this thing is killing me.. heh it better feel better (that didnt sound right) tomorrow.. gotta do some more shit.

on a lighter(or possibly heavier depending on interpretation) i saw schindlers list just now (its remembrance day here in holland), damn that movie is good.. the first time i saw it i was really sleepy.. and i think i missed most of it, which really sux now that i realized what i missed.. i think i want to see it again sometime soon (i missed the first 15 minutes of it this time.. found it flipping channels) maybe this time ill get to see the whole thing at once. anyways im not sure if youve seen it. but u should anyways..

alright im tired now.. and my ankles really annoying me.. so im gonna go get some ice and then get some sleep.

here’s what i did:

i installed the winsock update and rebooted. didn’t work

i disabled the onboard nic (it was still being detected since they had just removed the head and didn’t trip the jumper), didn’t work

for whatever reason the nic drivers weren’t working so i reinstalled. didn’t work

finally i just upgraded them to win2k. there’s some drivers that need to be reinstalled, like the scanner, but robin said he was gonna take care of that. i still am not sure exactly what was wrong, the socket layer was not initializing even after being reinstalled. ah well.
